Rotary is a volunteer organization with 33,000 clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. It initiates humanitarian projects that address today’s challenges affecting the world today, such as hunger, poverty, and illiteracy.

The Red Bud Rotary Club would like to thank the community of Red Bud, neighboring communities and Rotary Clubs, our family and friends for their support.

With your help the Red Bud Rotary club has made a difference locally and internationally:

* Helped save people in Malawi, Africa from malnutrition and unsafe drinking water by purchasing soy milk machines & deep water wells.

* Donated funds to purchase polio vaccine to achieve the Rotary goal of eradicating polio from the world.

* Purchased shelter boxes to be used in catastrophe struck areas of the world. Donated to a mobile dental van to bring dental care to the poor in remote areas of India.

* Locally we’ve donated dictionaries to the 3rd graders in all our community schools, including Prairie du Rocher.

* Helped needy families at Christmas.

* Provided food for the local food pantry.

* Funded a literacy program for Red Bud Elementary School along with our members volunteering to read.

* Supported the drama program and wellness fund at the high school.

* Purchased safety road signs which are posted in the city of Red Bud.
